Just a heads up about IEE Evaluators. As you might expect, they are not all equal. I would do some digging before I say yes to an evaluator. I would ask around (Child Advocates) are usually in the know on this topic and can make a good recommendation. Now that you are getting the IEE, you want to make sure it is done properly and not swayed by any opinion..

You do not have to choose from the list although the process is usually faster and smoother if you do. Unless there is some exceptional reason, the assessor you choose, whether on their list or not, must accept the SELPA rate.
